RIZAL GOVERNOR NINI YNARES participates and shares her ideas during the Feeding Program and Parent Effectiveness Orientation at Guitnang Bayan Elementary School in San Mateo, Rizal before some 1,300 students and their parents. Also present was San Mateo Mayor Tina Diaz, other local and school officials. The event, fittingly themed as “YES to Proper Nutrition”, is part of the provincial government’s campaign and support to the total proper nutrition package, wherein elementary students and their parents are provided with nutritious food duly prepared by the parents themselves under the supervision of the Provincial Agriculture Office. Conducted also are lectures on proper nutrition, basic hygiene, as well as dental and medical mission tackling issues on deworming, urban/container gardening, and waste management.
