The Municipality of Angono kicks off the Holiday Season with the ceremonial lighting of the town's entry in the Annual Inter-Town YES Recycled Christmas Tree, Belen, and Municipal Facade Contest led by Rizal Governor Rebecca "Nini" Ynares and Mayor Gerardo Calderon. The traditional festivity was also attended by members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Sangguniang Bayan, YES Team, other local officials, and people of Angono.

ANTIPOLO CHRISTMAS FIESTA

The Antipolo Christmas Fiesta kicks off with the lighting of the 30-foot Disney-inspired Christmas Tree which included a spectacular fireworks display that attracted more than ten thousand people who gathered at the Sumulong Park in Antipolo City. The event which is part of the Annual Inter-Town YES Recycled Christmas Tree, Belen and Municipal Façade Décor Contest was led by Rizal Governor Rebecca “Nini” Ynares, Mayor Jun Ynares and wife Andeng, Congresswoman Chiqui Roa-Puno and Former Congressman Robbie Puno, Congressman Romy Acop, and other local officials.

YES 5TH ANNIVERSARY

Rizal Governor Rebecca "Nini" Ynares is joined by all elected officials in the province and other guests during the 5th Anniversary of the YES (Ynares Eco System) Program, and the Commemoration of the "Save Sierra Madre Day" which coincide with her birthday celebration recently at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City. The Provincial Government awarded more than P35 million in prizes and incentives to LGUs, barangays and schools who demonstrated full compliance to the advocacies espoused by the YES Program.

117th ARAW NG LALAWIGAN

Armed with broomsticks, dustpan and sacks, employees of the provincial government of Rizal and municipal government of Binangonan commemorated the 117th Araw ng Lalawigan ng Rizal through a Province-wide clean up of major streets, schools, markets and other public facilities. Under the YES program, the various "green activities" highlighted the safeguard and protection of the environment.

It was a back-to-back feat for Binangonan which also finished top in last year’s competition, and took home again a brand new Dump Truck and 100 pieces mono-block chairs.

Board Member Omie Rivera of the Second District of Rizal and Dr. Reynaldo Bonita of the YES Team, representing Governor Nini Ynares, are joined by Mayor Bernardo San Juan Jr., and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Cardona, led by Vice Mayor Totoy Campo, during awarding ceremonies for the Best YES Recycled Municipal Façade Decoration Contest. The Municipality of Cardona won one unit of YES Cargo Trike and 100 pieces mono-block chairs for placing third in the annual competition among LGUs in the province.

Rizal Vice Governor Jun Rey San Juan, former Teresa Mayor Rodel dela Cruz and wife Josie dela Cruz, representing Governor Nini Ynares, are joined by Mayor Rex Manuel Tanjuatco and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Tanay, during awarding ceremonies for the Best YES Recycled Christmas Tree Contest. The Municipality of Tanay received a brand new dump truck and 100 pieces mono-block chairs for being one of the Top Three winners among LGUs in the annual competition under the YES Program.

 

RECYCLED CHRISTMAS TREE AWARDING IN MORONG

Board Member Olivia de Leon of the Second District of Rizal and Mr. Tracy Tunque of the YES Team, representing Governor Nini Ynares, are joined by Mayor Armando San Juan and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Morong, during awarding ceremonies for the annual Best YES Recycled Christmas Tree Contest. The Municipality of Morong was adjudged as one of the Top Three winners and received a brand new dump truck and 100 pieces mono-block chairs for the feat.

Board Member Rommel Ayuson of the Second District of Rizal, and Dr. Corazon Laserna of the YES Team, representing Governor Nini Ynares, are joined by Mayor Kathleen Robles and members of the Sangguniang Bayan ng Baras, during awarding ceremonies for the Best YES Recycled Municipal Façade Decoration Contest. The Municipality of Baras won three YES Cargo Trikes and 100 pieces mono-block chairs for topping the annual competition among LGUs in the province.

Board Member Ross Glen Gongora of the First District of Rizal and RENRO Mario Cayetano of the YES Team, representing Governor Nini Ynares, are joined by Mayor Joric Gacula and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, during awarding ceremonies for the Best YES Recycled Municipal Façade Decoration Contest. The Municipality of Taytay received two units of YES Cargo Trikes and 100 pieces mono-block chairs for finishing second place in the annual competition among LGUs in the province.
