SAINT MARY MAGDALENE

The first Pililla Church was erected through the help of the townspeople using nipa and bamboo for building material.  It was a humble beginning yet filled with awe as the early people of Pililla have shown their great desire to encounter God amidst their community.  But the first church was burned down after sometime. The missionaries decided to put up a stone church in 1670.  It was completed in 1673, and this church was dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene.

BAHAY NA BATO

Located just outside the archway of the entrance to the Saint Mary Magdalene Parish in Pililla, Rizal, the famous old Bahay na Bato has been popular, not only to local enthusiasts, but also to filmmakers, tourists, and historical explorers. The house is said to have been around since the time of the Spanish era when the Philippines was still under their regime.
Bahay na Bato has been known to popular culture because of its ancient aesthetics and its architectural layout. Because of this, different movies portraying old Spanish environment and horror adaptations of Filipino folklore is said to have been filmed at the place.

RIGETHO GET EXELL FARM

The Rigetho Get Exell Farm located in Barangay Halayhayin, PIlilla, Rizal houses, not only tilapia hatchery, but also other types of water animals, both artificial and organic-produced. Most of the food supplements that they provide to their fishes are made out of duckwheat, a tiny aquatic flowering plant that floats in large quantities on still water, often forming an apparently continuous green layer on the surface.
A total of 1,500 tilapia breeders produce about 105,000 fingerlings which are sold to fish growers in Batangas, Pangasinan, Bulacan and Pampanga. Other fishes can also be found in the farm, and it is said to have been one of the most interesting fish breeding farms in the province.

PINEAPPLE FARM

Located in Pililla, Rizal, the town is also famous with their big yet sweet produce of pineapple that has been popular to most of the places in the region. Competitions have been held in CALABARZON and their products have been one of the pride of Pililla, garnering awards for their juicy pineapple larger than a two-liter pitcher, as described by one of their champion farmers.

KAWAYAN FARM

At Barangay Halyhayin, Pililla, Rizal one of the famous farms located in the town is Kawayan Farm. The farm produces around 150-200 bamboo poles per year. Bamboo poles are sold mainly to fishpen operators at the Laguna Lake. Some of their bamboo produce includes orange bamboo, the regular green bamboo, black bamboo and the giant bamboo. Their nursery has been a place of culturization and plant harvesting for their bamboos. Harvest time normally starts during the colder months of September or October onwards.
