EARTH DAY 2016

As part of the Philippine Earth Day celebration, the Rizal Provincial Government, Antipolo City Government, United States Embassy and SM Cares, organized a bamboo tree planting activity in Hinulugang Taktak National Park. One thousand (1,000) bamboo saplings were planted as part of the rehabilitation of the said national park. The event was attended by Rizal Vice Governor Frisco San Juan, Jr., US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Michael Klecheski, SM officials headed by Supermalls President Annie Garcia and other officials.

Gov. Nini Ynares led another meeting with government officials and stakeholders of the the Hinulugang Taktak Protected Landscape (HTPL). The provincial government under her leadership and with the thrust of her administration continues to look for avenues for a greener, cleaner and safer environment.

PAMB-HTPL MEETING AT HINULUGANG TAKTAK

Rizal Gov. Nini Ynares presided over the meeting of the Protected Area Management Board for Hinulugang Taktak Protected Landscape (PAMB-HTPL) recently to discussed updates on the continued rehabilitation of the iconic falls and how to better promote it as one of the best tourism destinations in the province. The meeting was attended by the Board composed of inter-agency and local government units counterpart.

SOFT OPENING OF HINULUGANG TAKTAK

Rizal Gov. Rebecca Ynares, together with Secretary JR Nereus Acosta of LLDA, DENR Undersecretary Analiza Rebuelta-Teh, Antipolo City Cong. Robbie Puno and Romeo Acop, Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares, Vice. Gov. Frisco San Juan, Jr. and Municipal Mayors, Board Members, Barangay Captains, and other stakeholders led the soft opening of the Hinulugang Taktak recently. The rehabilitation of the iconic falls is the pet project of Gov. Nini Ynares under her YES to Green Program.

HINULUGANG TAKTAK OCULAR INSPECTION

Gov. Nini Ynares returned at the Hinulugang Taktak, considered as one of the most famous landmark in the province for an ocular inspection of the site before its forthcoming formal opening. The tourist destination was subjected to an over-all rehabilitation as part of the Ynares Eco System (YES) to Green Program of the province.

HINULUGANG TAKTAK MEETING

Governor Rebecca A. Ynares presided over the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) meeting held at the conference room of the Rizal Provincial Capitol. Updates of the on-going renovation of the Hinulugang Taktak Protected Landscape was one of the agenda discussed during the meeting attended by the PAMB members. The continuous effort of the provincial government in Hinulugang Taktak restoration is part of the YES to Green Program of Governor Ynares.

ERMA COURTESY CALL

RIZAL ENVIRONMENTAL ARMY

Rizal Gov. Nini Ynares, under her YES to Green (Ynares Eco System) Program led the deputation process of 150 environmental armies during a special training of the latter aimed at protecting and cleaning the environment. After the training at the provincial Capitol, the environmental armies spearheaded the manual cleaning of the iconic Hinulugang Taktak Protected Landscape (HTPL) in Antipolo City. (Rizal – PIO)

HINULUGANG TAKTAK PROPOSED ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Gov. Nini Ynares met with the Hinulugang Taktak Task Force to discuss the proposed changes of the newly revived iconic tourist attraction in Rizal. The Hinulugang Taktak will soon have various amenities and structures that is seen as a stepping stone to bring back the glory days of the iconic falls. Romeo Oraya Diares presented the proposed architectural design for Hinulugang Taktak. Also present in the meeting are Robert So, Ado Ocampo, Violeta Sabulao and YES Council.
