The Province of Rizal under the leadership of Governor Rebecca "Nini" Ynares has been judged anew as the Top 1 Most Competitive Province in the Philippines, during the 2018 Regional Competitiveness Summit held recently at the Philippine International Convention Center. The province is now a Hall of Famer for bagging the prestigious award for three consecutive years (2016, 2017, 2018). The award recognizes the province's exemplary performance in areas of economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure development, and resiliency. The Governor is joined by members of the Provincial Board, Department Heads, and other local officials in receiving the award.

Rizal Governor Nini Ynares receives the prestigious 2017 SGLG Plaque of Recognition from the DILG, duplicating its feat in 2016, during awarding ceremony held at the historic Manila Hotel.



Rizal Governor Nini Ynares, Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and other local officials, rejoice as Rizal Province is hailed as the Top 1 Most Competitive Province in the country for two consecutive years by the National Competitiveness Council, during the 5th Regional Competitiveness Summit and Awarding Ceremonies, held recently at PICC. Duplicating its feat in 2016, the province is joined by the City of Antipolo headed by Mayor Jun Ynares which was adjudged as the Top 1 Most Competitive Component City, while Cainta and Taytay made it two in a row as Top 1 and Top 2 Most Competitive Municipalities for 1st - 2nd Class Municipalities, followed by Angono at 3rd Place. The Municipality of Cardona was Top 1 in Government Efficiency Category, while Baras landed 3rd in the same category.



To further improve the efficient and responsive delivery of health care services to her constituents, Governor Rebecca "NiNi" Ynares, together with Congressman Jack Duavit of the First District, Vice-Governor Reynaldo San Juan Jr. and Members of the Sanguniang Panlalawigan, led the blessing and inauguration of the newly-contructed Margarito A. Duavit Memorial Hospital(Rizal Provincial Hospital System- Binangonan Annex, in this town.

PRIDE OF RIZAL - Rizal Gov. Rebecca Ynares received the award of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for Rizal Province, given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) during the 2016 SGLG National Conferment Ceremony held recently at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, Pasay City. This year’s SGLG is a stepped-up version of the SGH by incorporating the existing State of Local Governance Report (SLGR) and the SGH, particularly the following indicators: (1) disaster preparedness, (2) social protection, (3) business friendliness and competitiveness, (4) peace and order, and (5) environmental management. One of Gov. Ynares’ primary programs is the YES (Ynares Eco System) TO GREEN PROGRAM, with the full implementation of its six components: Cleaning, Greening, Recycling, Disaster Risk Reduction Management, Environmental Protection and Tourism. The YES Program aims to protect and safeguard the environment for future generations.  The municipalities of Angono represented by Mayor Gerardo Calderon and Tanay led by Mayor Rex Manuel Tanjuatco were awarded also the coveted Seal after the stringent criteria and standards of the award.
